Finally!!! We feed the poor kid!

Although the doctor said to wait until he was 5 months old, we finally broke down and fed our poor, starving son this weekend. The doctor said he might play with the food at first, that it would take a few days for him to understand. However, JJ attacked the spoon on the first bite! He had no problem understanding!!! He's much happier now!

Thanks to Nana (Matt's mom), JJ had quite the photo shoot on Valentine's Day! What a cutie!!

Helping with Laundry

JJ regularly helps Dad do laundry. Today, he landed in the middle of the pile!

First time in the High Chair

Believe it or not, JJ is now big enough to sit in his highchair at dinner! He's not able to eat in it yet, but I'm sure that's just around the corner!

Uncle Alan comes to visit

Uncle Alan made a surprise visit all the way from Okinawa, Japan just to see JJ! Although we wish he could have stayed longer, JJ and Alan got in some quality bonding. JJ wore his "top pilot" overalls in honor of Alan's Air Force pilot career.

New Year's Day 2008

We spent New Year's Day just playing with the boy. JJ is very used to the camera flash - it's amazing he hasn't gone into seizures with all the flashes!
